The night light comes on by itself when it gets dark. It sits straight in the socket, needs no installation, and throws a warm light down the wall — enough to find your way, not enough to wake anyone.
The sensor does the work
The built-in sensor notices when the room goes dark and switches off again at dawn. You never touch it. If you'd rather control it yourself, the switch has three settings: auto, on and off.
Rotating plug
The plug itself rotates, so the light points whichever way you want it — whatever the orientation of your socket. The socket in front stays usable.
Warm light, not harsh
3000 K matches the light of an ordinary incandescent bulb. Up to 80 lumens at 10 W, so it lights a hallway or a step without dazzling you on the way to the bathroom at three in the morning.

No. The light sits above the socket itself, so you can still use it as normal.
How much electricity does it use?
10 W while lit, and it only lights in the dark. That's a few pounds a year.
Can it stay on all the time?
Yes. Set it to "on" and it stays lit whatever the light level.
Is it bright enough to read by?
No, and that's deliberate. 80 lumens is orientation light — for the hallway, the stairs, the bedroom and the children's room.

The light has a European plug for 230 V wall sockets. It does not fit UK three-pin sockets directly, so please contact us before ordering and we will tell you the best way to use it in the UK.
In Auto mode a small sensor measures how light the room is. At dusk the light switches on, and when it gets light again it switches off – all by itself.
Yes. In On mode it stays lit until you switch it off, however bright it is. In Off mode it is off without you having to unplug it.
