- Place the wooden disc under the garment and fix the loom over the hole.
- Run threads up around the hooks.
- Flip the hooks and weave through with the needle. Change direction every row.
- Lift the loom off, secure the loops and take the ends through to the back.
Your first mend usually takes about fifteen minutes. After that it gets quicker.

- Mending area: up to approx. 5 × 5 cm at a time. Larger holes are mended in several passes side by side.

Step 1
Fix it over the hole
Put the wooden disc behind the garment and fix the loom over the spot you want to mend.
Step 2
Set up the threads
Turn the hooks towards you. Anchor the yarn in the fabric and run the threads around the hooks.
Step 3
Weave back and forth
Flip the hooks to the side and weave through with the needle. Change direction every row.
Step 4
Done!
Lift the loom off, secure the loops along the edge and take the thread ends through to the back.

Most of them: jeans, knitted jumpers, cardigans, socks, trousers, blankets and other fabrics. As long as the loom can be fixed around the spot, it works.
