ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED!! It sits right next to the front door, and the light beech works SO well with the black handle and the smart lock. I took the photo in the evening because I simply could not help myself. The magnet catches every single time 🚪

We had our boot room redone, and the dark walnut was exactly what the wall between the coat hooks and the front door was missing. It sits beautifully with the old live-edge bench, and the shoes now line up underneath instead of sprawling across the floor. No screws, no holes — just tape. It has not moved a millimetre since May.

I chose light oak because we have an old raw pine mirror right beside it — and the two woods really flatter each other. You can see into the kitchen in the photo, and even from there it looks right. The shoes now stand in a row on the floor instead of in a heap by the door.

We rent, so I am not allowed to drill into the walls — hence this one. It sits by the back door out to the garden, where we pull garden shoes on and off all summer. The tape gripped straight away on the smooth grey wall. Pure relief 🤎

Honestly, I thought it was far too expensive for a shoehorn. Then it arrived, and I took this close-up five minutes later — just look at that edge, and the way it curves off towards the hinge. That is furniture making, not hardware. I take it all back.

Nice thing, and light oak was the right choice for our old house. One minus: this wall is a bit rough after many coats of paint, so the tape let go after a couple of days. I pressed it down properly and left it a full day, and since then it has held rock solid. The clogs now sit right underneath, where they belong.

After my slipped disc I cannot bend down to get my heel in, and this has removed a small daily irritation. It hangs next to my grandmother's old pedestal table with the glass vase on top, and the walnut almost matches the wood of the table. The umbrella hangs on the other side. That whole corner finally makes sense.

Simple. Works. Looks good. Should have bought it years ago.

Gave it to my mother-in-law in dark oak for her 70th birthday, and she rang the same evening to say thank you. Her knees are bad and she does not bend down any more. Now I clearly need one myself.

I have been looking at these for a long time, but most are either plastic or far too short. The 55 cm is a perfect fit for me — I am 1.88 m and do not have to bend at all. The wood is solid and well sanded, no splinters or sharp edges anywhere. The magnetic bracket went up in five seconds, and it does not come off even when you tug at it. It is rare that something is simply this well made.

Really good and handsome. I had just hoped it was a touch longer for my tall riding boots — I still have to go down on one knee for those. For trainers and ankle boots it is perfect.

Ordered walnut. The colour is deeper in real life than on screen, and that is only a bonus. Insanely lovely piece of wood.

Customer service offered a discount, which was decent of them, but it is a shame when you have been looking forward to something.

I turn 81 this autumn and have tried a good many shoehorns over the years. This is the first that is both long enough and handsome enough to leave on display. It should have been invented long ago.

Bought it for our new flat and chose walnut. It is the first thing you see when you come in, and that is perfectly fine by me.

Sturdy thing. Sits as it should. Nothing more to say.

I actually had a cheap one from a supermarket that snapped in two after six months — that is why I went looking for something proper. The difference is immediately obvious. This is heavy, smooth and completely rigid. And there is something lovely about lifting it off the magnet and putting it back without even thinking about it.

My six-year-old can do it herself now. That was actually the main reason we bought it.

Good quality for the money. I do think the magnet could have been a touch stronger though — if you set it back at an angle the horn slides down a little. Not a big problem.
